Cancer: A Mystery?

According to a study from the American Cancer Society back in 2007, there were expected to be over 12 million new cancer cases and 7.6 million cancer deaths worldwide that year (about 200,000 cancer deaths a day). At this rate, we can expect that pretty soon almost everyone will be a candidate for some type of cancer. The major cancer associations and their researchers claim to be on a mission to eliminate cancer “through research, education, advocacy and service.” But from my vantage point, they are just spinning their wheels and wasting time, money, energy and human life. Anyone who understands life’s simple Natural Laws knows that cancer is the effect of modern living.

Cancer is not a mystery; it is an inevitability. The extent to which cancer ravages human cells, tissues, and organs is completely preventable. And it could easily have been predicted by anyone with a little common, cosmic sense more than a hundred years ago with the advent of the Industrial Revolution.

Cancer is the eating away of healthy human tissue by rogue microbes like bacteria, yeast, fungus and viruses. These rogue microbes are the decomposers of life and come into existence when conditions are not conducive to life (much as vultures, ants, flies, and other scavengers appear at the site of a carcass). The appearance of these microbes is a part of the natural, cosmic law of recycling energy.

It’s time to bring an end to the supposed quest for a cure for cancer in laboratories and the useless run/walks and pink ribbons. Cancer is a natural result of living in opposition to that which is life-generating—for the body and the planet. To put it another way, cancer is a natural result of saturating the body with substances, experiences, and environments that snuff the life out of it.

Cancer is not bad luck. It is the result of consistent defiance of life—making choices that lead to deterioration and death. Unfortunately, an ignorant plea will not save any of us from its clutches. To depend on doctors, health boards, research labs, and other misguided institutions is to forfeit responsibility for our own health. Apart from a growing group of conscious doctors who see the folly and corruption in their field, the medical approach can never solve the problem of cancer. The only way to resolve this plague is to maintain a body of clean cells and tissues—breathe clean air, drink clean water, and consume natural foods that leave the body efficiently to prevent accumulation and stagnation. For it is the stagnation of waste that breeds rogue microbes.

At this point, I would direct you to my blog on accumulation. First, you must understand how a body that becomes saturated with un-eliminated matter becomes a perfect breeding ground for pestilent feeders to overtake the healthy balance of the body’s terrains. Then you’ll clearly see how cancer is the end result of a lifetime’s accumulation of acidic waste matter and the undesirable life forms that feed on it.

Cancer begins at birth in the modern world. A baby is born into a world of non-life-generating substances, environments, and experiences. First there are the substances that clog the little body: formula, poor quality water, gluey grain-based foods, sugary cereals, milk, chicken, pork chops, soy chips, Veggie Booty, Pop Tarts, donuts, yogurt snacks, etc. This is the first stage of clogging that takes place in the early years. Of course, it just continues from there…fast food, meats, more dairy, more grain-based foods, more cheap packaged foods, diet foods, lifeless beverages, cigarettes, pharmaceutical and recreational drugs, and more poor quality water and air.

These things alone cause enough blockage and stagnation in the body to turn it into a walking septic system and overwhelm the good microbes in the body with the decomposing rogue microbes. In these first couple of decades the body is already well on its way to becoming so overrun by these harbingers of cancer that much of the organism’s healthy tissue is riddled with mucus, bacteria, yeast, and fungus. Ailments such as ear infections, flues, bronchitis, tonsillitis, and asthma indicate that these microbes are taking hold. The more they are given a chance to grow, the more they will take over the body. It’s kind of like the body is playing out what would have happened if we had lost WWII. Now, if we lived differently, following the rules of nature and never allowing these substances into our bodies, this would never occur. But the unconscious masses do not make this connection. We cannot live “normally” and expect to avoid cancer. Today, “normal” living at its very core goes against the laws of the body. Given the conditions of modern living, we should expect cancer, not be surprised by it.

Add to this the enclosed spaces that we were never meant to live in—from houses and offices circulating lifeless, stagnant air to the carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide that kill off healthy cells in our lungs (the largest internal organ) with every inhalation in and around cities and industrial areas. Oxygen is life. Our health and longevity is directly related to how much pure oxygen each cell receives.

The final straw that breaks the camel’s back is stress that comes not just from day-to-day pressures and deadlines but also from accumulated anxiety from early childhood. The family and community structure—with all its social expectations, fears, and general discord—is also based on a lot of erroneous, unconscious, accepted programs. It runs according to an assembly line of ages, stages, marriages and divorces, deterioration, old age homes and death.

These discordant feelings are bred into children, causing acidic emotions to flow through the body more abundantly than alkaline, harmonious emotions. All acid-forming substances—be they from food, drink, air, water, or emotions—contribute to the deterioration of the internal terrains. The acidic terrain is the ideal breeding ground for yeast, which, like weeds in a garden, choke the body and direct the infested organism to consume the sugars and starches the yeast feed on—contributing to the vicious cycle of accumulating substances that further clog the body.

As I discuss in my new book, Detox for Women (April ’09), people are exponentially more yeasted now than they were just five years ago. This explains why no diet seems to work anymore (however, in the book, I offer one that will). The very fact that this is occurring in conjunction with the phenomenon of cancer is clear as day. The “over-yeastedness” (which goes hand in hand with bacterial overgrowth) is the early warning sign of cancer. Cancer is just the fruition of a yeasted, bacteria-laden body. Cancer is the most mature stage of accumulated waste feeding rogue microbes until the tissue and organism approach full decomposition according to the cycle of life.

The body is always trying to protect its vital organs. It can live without healthy hair, teeth, nails, and bone, but not without a healthy liver, heart, lungs, or kidneys. So when the bacteria, yeast, or viruses get close to one or more vital organs, the body tries to protect the threatened organ by creating a boundary for the poisonous microbes and the waste they’re feeding on (which eventually permeates the intestine, reaching the internal organs). This boundary is a tumor. It’s like a little house for the dangerous mass. But this mass keeps growing if the organism does not heal, until the organ can no longer be protected from the mass and the rogue microbes begin to eat away at the organ. This is cancer.

The more the tissue of the organ is rendered “necrotic” (dead), the more the cancer has ravaged the organ/system. This explains why you’ll often hear of cancer spreading to other organs quickly. The body is one interconnected organism. Chances are, if the body is compromised enough to have one form of cancer, other parts of the body are similarly decomposing. (Note: the cancerous organ will reflect lifestyle habits—i.e., if one over-consumed cooked proteins, fats, alcohol and drugs, the liver will be the organ most inclined to suffer; if there were too many sugars and starches in the diet, the pancreas will be distressed; diabetes is a warning bell for cancer because it indicates that pancreatic function has already been compromised).

So now we know that our lifestyle is the cause of cancer. Cancer is the effect. Everything comes down to cause and effect. The problem with medical science’s approach to cancer is that it looks at cancer as a mystery with an unknown cause. It is no mystery, and I have to wonder why intelligent, highly educated people who command billions of dollars in research do not make this obvious connection. Is it ignorance or corruption? After all, cancer is a multi-billion-dollar business.

In my opinion, those who present themselves as doctors have a responsibility to dig for the truth, not simply uphold the system in which they were trained. At this point in our human downfall, there is no time for healers to be passive, ignorant, arrogant, or egotistical. Only the truth matters and will set us free. Both doctors and patients must avoid subscribing to systems that do not work. The former should be held accountable, and the latter will inevitably suffer if they do not learn, read, study and undertake the education of real health for themselves. The alternative is extinction. Moreover, we will miss out on all the joys of living in harmony with the Laws of Nature. Health is not the destination. Health is the gateway through which we can experience real life and higher states of humanity.

Perhaps the mainstream is beginning to get the message. Last week, this article in BBC online announced that the best cancer prevention is clean living. (To jump to the article, click here.) Who would have guessed it?

If your health has become severely compromised or you want to prevent cancer, the smartest thing you can do is initiate the removal of all the accumulation of unfit substances from your body that are feeding the rogue microbes. Do not overlook the importance of clean mountain or sea air, clean water, and a happy heart. Make no mistake, cancer is not a mystery. It is an obvious effect of the cause of “normal” living. The more you correct the blocks to the healthy flow of the body, the less your chances of having cancer. No one who lives according to the Laws of Nature gets cancer. Go have a run/walk—for life, for fun, for truth. Wear a pink ribbon—in your hair, because it’s pretty. Pssst! The mystery is solved. Pass it on…

All That Glitters

There are several television shows that call me periodically to speak on “newsworthy” topics. After participating in dozens of these segments over several months a couple of years ago, I opted to stop. They send a limo and driver, put my books up on camera, treat me like a celeb, and do the whole hair-and-makeup bit. But I started to realize that I always left feeling horrible. So I stopped. Sometimes I see their numbers on my caller ID and I don’t pick up.

Today I happened to pick up. It was a big show and, as usual, it was tempting at first: I’d have a captive audience for a couple of minutes, and the thought that I might inspire someone to begin their process of growth and freedom was tempting. Whereas most of these segments are between 2 and 3 minutes, this one, at a whopping 7 minutes, was distinctly alluring. I was ready to make up an excuse for not being able to participate—particularly when I learned that they wanted to pigeonhole me as a vegetarian and pit me against a carnivore (you know how I repel labels)! But instead I felt like maybe I should do it this time; maybe this time would be different.

I bought myself some time to consult with my inner compass. I reminded myself of all the reasons that I stopped doing these news blocks and why I felt so awful afterwards. For one, these newsrooms are places of profoundly inharmonious vibrations. Hectic energy spins and flashes like lightning around everyone—everything popping, seconds ticking, next guest appearing, 15 screens going at once, teleprompters flashing… The MO: create drama, keep the masses watching, keep the interest growing, make mountains out of dung balls!

It’s a mad frenzy even by my standards—and I’m a New Yorker, for carrot’s sake, who’s used to a certain amount of frenetic energy! And then, of course, there’s hair and makeup. Do you know they airbrush your face until you look like plastic (most of the anchors are airbrushed to the hilt; guys too). Once you are adequately caked up, you move into the next room to get your hair teased, ironed, and sprayed, and then you’re off into the freezing production room where you are given mere seconds to try to educate the viewers about one of the most profound subjects of our day. But you never really get to say anything at all because the treatment of the topic is shallow and you only have a few seconds of air time to answer questions that are staged to create drama and ratings—not to benefit the viewers at all!

All in all, it’s an afternoon squandered at the feet of the beast, not one of useful, life-generating activity. After all this commotion, I have not served to illuminate anyone, but merely contributed to the chatterbox of sound bites that feed the human programming machine, keeping the culture numb and addicted to infotainment fast food.

The shows, like the magazines and other manufactured images that inundate and subliminally program us, are part of a mass illusion. I realize now that this was the reason the whole experience made my skin crawl. My inner compass was telling me loud and clear through its alarm bells that these forms of media were not for me. If people were ready for this cleansing information, they would have to find it some other way.

However, the experiences taught me so much about myself and even reflected my own evolution. I used to think I needed the major media channels to reach people or build my “platform.” That was part of the old energy model, which will become increasingly antiquated as more people wake up and create channels of life-generating information and entertainment.

It also taught me a lot about what goes on behind the scenes of television shows. When you watch those newscasters, don’t be fooled by the illusion of their radiant skin and confident demeanors. Often, they are suffering from the same bodily abuse as their mainstream viewers; they just have the help of technicians to make them appear healthy. The “airbrush makeup” actually does make your skin appear flawless. Lights and other products do the rest. As for the appearance of confidence and calm, well, that’s an illusion too. However, what’s under the surface of these illusions cannot be airbrushed.

This is the launching point to a bigger issue I’ve wanted to hit on for some time. We live in a world of fake appearances—it’s all smoke and mirrors: the magazine photographs, TV shows, and, of course, the grand dame of all, plastic surgery! You can mimic the image you admire with all the masking technology available today, but doing so won’t help you escape the ravages of imbalanced living inside. You can cover and glitz up all you want on the outside, you can get nipped and tucked and create the illusion of beauty, but the body can’t keep your secret inside for long. The body doesn’t forget the abuse of unfit consumption and lifestyle choices. Sure, there are drugs to help suppress symptoms, but they cannot undo the destruction to the cells, tissues, and organs that lead to cancer, Parkinson’s, gastro-intestinal disease, and myriad other manifestations of “normal” living. You can get a facelift and “smart-lipo”, but you’ll still have to explain your colostomy bag!

Sometimes women ask me, “Natalia, why do I have to work so hard and do all these healthy things? My friend Jane doesn’t do any of this and she looks great!”

“How do you know?” I reply. “Do you have X-ray vision? Quantum vision maybe? Have you looked at the state of the atomic structure within her cells? Oh, and take away the Prozac, the coffee, the cigarettes, the aspirin, and her credit cards, and see how fine Jane is.”

Nothing personal, Jane! But people appear to be fine when they have all the stimulation that keeps them on an even keel, but they are desperately addicted to the substances that keep them from shaking like a cocaine fiend coming off a fix. They are not okay just because they seem okay for 15 minutes in the grocery store checkout line. If they are living “normally” and are over a certain age, they are ravaged by toxicity.

It’s all based on polarity, and cause and effect. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The scales of justice are neither arbitrary nor optional. If you place a substance in the body that doesn’t belong there, your body will have to work hard to get it out—if it’s lucky enough to manage it. Everything that enters the body must be metabolized. That which fails to leave and becomes stuck in the intestinal tissue creates blocks in the body which accumulate. The body becomes a bacteria breeding ground—rotting on its own waste from within.

You can smear yourself all you want with expensive creams and cover yourself up with trendy clothes, but you’ll only be fooling yourself. All the spas and Park Avenue surgeons in the world cannot reverse internal decay. There is only one way out: diligent application of intelligent cleansing principles, which will eventually unblock the pathways and bring the life force back to the cells. When the cells start to conduct electromagnetic current again, you will discover what true beauty looks and feels like. This is the only beauty worth having.

You won’t get information like this in the mainstream news media any more than you’ll get real news on real world events from them. It’s all smoke, glitter, and illusion, my friends. I know you already know this, but sometimes it’s good to be reminded because it’s easy to fall prey to the facades and masks in our world of airbrushed images.

After graciously declining to do the show, I added, “If you ever decide to do a program that explores this subject matter more deeply, I would be very interested in participating.” The producer said he’d keep that in mind. I’m not expecting a phone call anytime soon.

I’m not opposed to being on television, but to the way it’s done. When it is produced in such a way that honors life and the lives of the viewers, I’ll be there. Otherwise, I’ll be at home hanging out with my family in the Life-Light—where all that glitters is PURE GOLD!

The True Measure of Health Food: Deep Tissue Cleansing

For those of you who are still confused about what actually constitutes a “health food,” let me clear the air: if a substance contributes to the removal of the accumulated waste in the body, either by awakening it or by helping it move through the eliminative channels—in a process called Deep Tissue Cleansing—it has a place in a cleansing diet. If not, it cannot rightfully be called a “health food.”

Deep Tissue Cleansing happens through the eliminative organs, predominantly the bowel, followed by the skin, lungs, kidneys and lymph, with support from the liver and spleen. Check out my post of 10/14/07 to learn how waste accumulation saturates the cells and tissues throughout the body.

Many people believe they are cleansing when they simply undertake a raw food diet or a fast, or use an herbal “cleanse” product. However, it is only through the copious release of old waste through the colon (while other eliminative organs play a supporting role) that meaningful cleansing occurs.

Deep Tissue Cleansing is the only cleansing that is profound enough to impact biochemical improvements in our bodies. Understanding this is the key to determining which foods have a rightful place in a cleansing diet-lifestyle. However, keep in mind that there’s a distinct hierarchy even within this group of foods.

Substances that support Deep Tissue Cleansing can be broken down into three categories:

1. Those which are truly health-generating (alkaline)
2. Those which are neutral
3. Those which keep us sane as we cleanse (mildly acidic)
 Caution: Do not confuse foods in this third category with health foods. It’s best to regard them as “safe poisons.” See below for more details.

Let’s look at each category one at a time:

1. The true health generators are only vegetable juices, raw vegetables, and fresh, raw, ripe fruit (avocados and young coconuts are high on the list). These are the only substances that are truly alkaline, contributing life force and cleanliness to the blood and fully exiting the body, leaving no accumulation behind. Health generators are also the effective “awakeners” in a cleanse because their alkaline charge literally magnetizes the acid-waste matter in our otherwise alkaline bodies, creating the potential for that waste to exit the body.

One caveat here, particularly for women, is fruit. Fruit is the cleanest food for the human body, and the highest vibration food on the planet. However, if you combine high quantities of accumulated acid waste with the estrogenic nature of your biochemistry, which makes you more inclined to proliferate yeast, beware of feeding that yeast with sugars—including fruit sugars. I strongly urge women to consume only small amounts of low-sugar fruits, such as lemons (which you may use liberally), grapefruits, green apples, and berries, until the system is cleaner and less saturated with yeast. Focus more on the raw vegetable juices and raw vegetables for your source of alkaline, waste-awakening foods. I explain this in greater detail in my new book, Detox for Women (available May ’09).

2. Next are the neutral foods. These are not health generators, but they won’t to stick in the body or hold back the cleanse either. They help to fill you up, leave the body easily, and facilitate the transition to this lifestyle. Neutral foods are all the cooked vegetables (from spinach to yams and everything in between) and the following few grains: millet, quinoa, and buckwheat. Cooked vegetables are of a higher vibration than nuts and seeds and therefore should not be shunned as they typically are in raw food circles. One of the biggest mistakes that raw foodists make is to focus their diets around nuts and seeds while vilifying benign cooked vegetables. Cooked vegetables are the helping hand in a long-term cleansing diet.

Personally, I’m not a fan of grains in general, but those who wish to include them can still be successful with millet, quinoa, and buckwheat. Women should stick to these three grains as they are less likely to feed yeast. Men and some women (especially beginners coming off the mainstream diet) can enjoy other whole grains, such as the sprouted grain bread products, spelt, kamut, and products like spelt pasta. However, millet is the only truly neutral, non-gluey grain, followed by quinoa and buckwheat. All others would fall into the third category…

3. Foods that keep us sane as we cleanse. These are the less offensive low-vibration foods that offer an emotional and social crutch as you embark on the cleansing lifestyle while still struggling with addictions to low-vibration, stimulating substances. For example, if you are addicted to bagels and burgers, you will need a bit of acidic food to ease the transition without bringing the cleanse to a halt. As you focus on a diet of raw juices and salads, the true health foods, you might include some acidic items from this third category for some fun and familiarity. Such foods include raw goat cheese (some pasteurized goat cheese is okay when you can’t get raw), high quality fish (admittedly hard to come by, now that our waterways are so polluted), sprouted grain breads and whole grains, raw nuts and seeds, and dark chocolate.

Note: I find that non-vegan items such as the raw goat cheese and fish actually leave the body much more easily than the celebrated raw nuts, seeds and grains, which are extremely dense and should be consumed with caution. They tend to be overeaten and sit like dead weight in the body. Further, they are often mis-combined—such as when eaten with avocados or raw grains or followed by fresh fruit—which is not healthy or cleansing. As you transition and require these third category foods less (though you may never let them go altogether), try to eat them in the evening. Drink lots of raw vegetable juice and pure water (distilled is best, as the vegetable juice will ensure good mineral balance) in the morning, graduating to raw salads and avocados as the focal point of daytime eating, then a raw salad and any of the cooked food in these latter two categories (per the Quick Exit combination laws in my books) in the evening.

If you hold all health food information up to the light of Deep Tissue Cleansing, you will never again be misled or confused by what is healthy. Always ask yourself: Will this contribute to mobilizing accumulated waste matter out of the cells and tissues of my body or not?

Nuts, seeds, and grains, which are traditionally among the most celebrated foods in the raw lifestyle, are actually the least health-supporting of all the foods mentioned above! Oil and coconut butter are fussy additions that can bring some fun to transition foods, but they are not health-generators. They are dense and clogging and should be used minimally—especially by women. I don’t eat raw chocolates because they sit in the body like a dead weight (again fine for transitioning off Twix and Mars Bars, but far from a Quick Exit health food). When I’m in the mood for high-quality dark chocolate, I prefer the non-raw brands like Rapunzel (my latest favorite), Green & Black, and Dagoba.

Fiber supplements are also frequently recommended in the mainstream diet. This is because the mainstream diet is overwhelmingly comprised of starch, sugar, fats, and protein (for example, bagels, turkey, Velveeta sandwiches, meatloaf or soy-loaf for vegans). A diet devoid of natural fiber makes it necessary to take fiber supplements, but that does not make them healthy. When we eat poorly and then try to patch up what we are missing with supplements, vitamins, gym workouts, and eight glasses of water a day, we will get sick and deteriorate rapidly.

The only way to live well is to fully enter into the circle of truth, where we can drink pure water but don’t need to focus on a particular quantity; where we eat raw vegetable like normal humans instead of taking fiber supplements; where we can stop counting calories, fat grams, and carb grams and forget the contrived concept of consuming three meals a day plus snacks, which is way too much food for the average body to process. In the circle of truth, we wait for our bodies to tell us when we’re hungry, then start with our juice and eat our raw salads when we are hungry for more. We instinctively create salads that taste good and include neutral and non-offensive cooked foods to make the process pleasurable.

All we have to remember is to remove accumulation for cellular cleanliness. We must ensure that the waste being awakened by the alkalinity of the raw juices and vegetables continuously exits the body through bowel cleansing and sweating (ideally infrared saunas and rebounding, or other exercises that you enjoy). The body has no other needs. For those in the circle of truth, the chi flows in blissful currents and health is abundantly obvious. If you are working hard at your health but not feeling this current of life force, you are probably eating too much dense food and not eliminating enough waste. Correct this and see what happens.

Never forget: Deep Tissue Cleansing is the only meaningful kind of cleansing. Let this always be your measuring stick as you make your health food choices.

Keep your sights set on the mountain peak and you will get there. Don’t look down. The truth will set you free, but you must be courageous and dedicated enough to follow that truth all the way to the top—and let me tell you, it’s mighty fine up here!

The Danger of Social Conditioning: Part Two

In Part One of “The Danger of Social Conditioning” (10/19/08) we discussed how humans are programmable and largely directed by social conditioning. We discussed why it is critical to stop feeding the group consciousness that is endangering us, and how to link up with a higher consciousness for life-generating results.

Now, I would like to discuss the effects of socially conditioned behavior on the programming of our genetic material—specifically, how socially conditioned consumption of unfit substances (mainstream food, drink, drugs, medications, etc.) affects our DNA. Our life experiences are determined by two critical elements: (1) the focus of our consciousness and (2) our DNA coding based on what we consume.

Human DNA is programmable, like a computer system. But the programs are ever-changing based on the messages our DNA receives from our experiences, thoughts, and the substances we consume. If we commit ourselves to certain life-generating disciplines, we can become more powerful, leading us up the evolutionary spiral. We can shift the genetic imprint we were given from an unfavorable trajectory onto a much more favorable one. (We can also program ourselves to do the opposite—to degenerate our mental and emotional balance and physicality.) A few disciplines that can enable us to remove blockages and begin to evolve: Deep Tissue Cleansing through a highly alkaline diet and regular gravity colonics; connecting to our Higher Self; and shedding patterns and canceling programs that don’t serve the Highest Good.

We can evolve your own being tremendously—in this body, in this lifetime. When our hearts are aligned with the Highest Good, when our emotional, physical, and mental bodies are clear, there are no limits to our powers of creation.

Now, let’s start from the beginning and discuss the impact of social conditioning on our DNA and how it affects our offspring. The “programming feature” of our DNA can be our best ally or our worst enemy. It can lift us up to untold greatness, but steeped as it is in the conditioned values of our current diet-lifestyle, it is leading our race and our planet to sure ruin.

Every single one of us is a product not only of what we have programmed into our DNA, but of what our entire lineage has programmed into us throughout the generations. We receive it all. This means that each new generation that springs forth will be weaker than the one that gave birth to it because with each generation the offenses made against the body have become exponentially greater.

For example: Bob was born of Irish-German descent. For generations, his family consumed large quantities of alcohol, flesh products, white bread, and flour. This steady diet of acidic, unfit substances saturated the cells and tissues of his predecessors, degenerating their health, and was passed along in the seed of Bob’s father to Bob himself. Bob’s health is now more compromised than that of his parents when they were born because he has received the accumulated energetic makeup of 20 to 30 years of unfit living. Bob and his wife will continue their social customs with 20 to 30 years of even more unfit consumption, and then will pass along their DNA to their children, who will be the most compromised of all three of these generations. It’s a continuous downward spiral of Inherited Energy.

Inherited Energy determines the constitution of our offspring and is often the origin of birth defects and other infant/childhood imbalances. Emotional and mental disorders are also carried in Inherited Energy like a blueprint of our ancestors’ physical, emotional, and mental lives in the DNA.

The degeneration of Inherited Energy has become exponentially more dramatic in the last 50 years. Prior to that, unfit substances were not nearly as damaging or over-consumed. Meat, raw dairy, potatoes, beer, and sugar are the “Pollyannas” of food compared to the chemically laden, highly refined, ultra-pasteurized packaged goods we started to consume in the last couple generations. These substances cause hormones to misfire and the body’s entire communication network to go haywire. The organs become damaged, the blood filthy, the life force energy blocked—and the DNA reads all of this into the blueprint of the body and its reproductive organs.

Have you noticed that children are becoming sicker and more overweight at a much younger age than ever before? Children are suffering from the socially accepted consumption of their lineage and are manifesting the degeneration of the DNA in their physical, emotional, and mental fields. In other words, unfit consumption is degenerating our species!

We all love our children, but how many of us will make the changes necessary to stop their pain? Children are more overweight today not only because they eat more junk, but because they were born with compromised bodies and are unable to process and metabolize these heinous substances. It’s like sending the weakest warriors into the biggest battle of the war. Babies bear the brunt of the damage their parents have done to their bodies, their organs, and blood chemistry. This is why social conditioning is so dangerous.

We have become a society that expects our government organizations, medical associations, and other authority figures to look out for our health and safety. When we blindly follow convention, gorging on Big Macs, sodas, and other junk foods, we give our power away. As a result, our kids today have to work harder than ever to stay well. 

Now, at the risk of offending a lot of people, I will speak the un-PC truth: The many men and women today who are struggling to reproduce are bio-chemically unfit to bear children. Natural selection has determined that it is not in the best interest of the species to reproduce from these couples at this time. Yes, it is painful. But remember, pain is a call for change. Infertility is an alarm bell that society is not heeding, but rather ignoring and suppressing with invasive treatments that defy the body’s wisdom. Infertility is nature’s last call before a complete degeneration of the species. We cannot say we haven’t been duly warned.

My friends, I am not trying to offend you, but I am not here to protect your feelings. My role is to help you to protect your power, your truth, your offspring—in sum, our humanity. If you are struggling to reproduce, try Deep Tissue Cleansing to help make your body a hospitable environment for a baby and to offer your baby cleaner genetic material. Now, you may not be able to clean up entire generations of damage, but in time, if you approach cleansing intelligently by awakening the old waste through alkaline foods and fresh vegetable juices, and release the waste with regular bowel cleansing, you and your future offspring will be much better off. The worst thing we can do is to continue on this trajectory of degenerating genetic material. When we look at our suffering children, let us be honest with ourselves and say, “Here is the mirror of our socially acceptable lifestyle.”

Cleansing is not just about fitting into a size 2 or feeling virile at age 80. We must stand up for truth and step out of the clutches of the conditioned mass consciousness. Sure, we can be peaceful warriors—but warriors we must be! It is time to ruffle some feathers and shake up the status quo. Either we wake up or become extinct.

Our future depends on the DNA we pass along to our offspring. We honor our family line when we care for our DNA. There is no greater homage we can pay to those who came before us and no greater gift we can give to those who will follow than to protect and elevate the health of our genetic material. As our DNA gets the message that more and more of the muck and mire has left our cells, tissues, organs, and blood, it will move us right up along the evolutionary spiral toward the limitless powers that can be ours and our children’s.

A Few Housekeeping Notes

It’s time for another housekeeping blog. Here are just a few things I’d like to mention:

1. My rates for private consultations have increased. The initial consultation fee is now $500; follow-ups are $250/hr; and initial phone consultations are $350. I have resisted raising my rates for several years because I wanted to be as affordable for everyone as possible. However, as the demands on my time are increasing, along with inflation and the actual costs of keeping this business as high-integrity as it is, this change had to be implemented.

Please note that with all the detailed information I have provided in my books, audios and blogs, anyone can reach the highest levels of health without coming to see me directly. The personal consultation option is there for those who truly feel they need the hand-held support. While I would never discourage anyone from booking a private session, the tools are all here for you, so take them as far as you can. If you pay attention to the details and do not overlook the parts of my guidance that may at first seem inconvenient to you, you can transform your body and your life. Cost is not an excuse–all the information you need is here for free if you take the time to read and study. The books, audios and private sessions are all a source of support, but I have gone to great pains to open the doors of knowledge and ensure that the truth is free to all who desire it. Truth can never be withheld from the sincere seeker.

5. Anecdotally, for all the mothers out there, I want to share a little tidbit about our recent Halloween since I get so many questions about how I handle candy with my kids. We took a trip down to our friends’ beautiful home in a very posh suburb of Palm Beach, Florida. The homes were dressed to the nines for the holiday, matched only by the kids and their over-the-top costumes. At about 6:30 p.m., all of our kids (my two, ages 6 and 8, and our friends’ two, ages 3 and 5) were all ready to venture out into the spooky night.

My kids always participate in trick-or-treating, after which they traditionally pick two pieces of candy and surrender the rest as a sacrifice to the “Halloween Monster”–who, if pleased with the sacrifice, allows them to trick-or-treat again the next year. I had never had any problem with this, but this was our kids’ first time staying in another household for Halloween. My friends, who were very supportive of the way I live, decided to go along with this approach. But before we even made it out the door, their kids started angling for candy and my kids quickly felt a sense of entitlement too.

It was about the hour I like to start noshing on my prelude to dinner–raw carrots. So I grabbed a large bag of giant carrots (those really big, thick ones that look like they were plucked right out of the ground for a giant) and immediately announced that I was “Carrot Woman” for Halloween. As I pulled out one of my hefty carrots to munch, I noticed that there were four sets of big, greedy eyes set on my carrot. I offered it to the three-year-old who immediately launched into it. The next carrot went to his brother, and then my kids quickly tore into their carrots as well. Suddenly, the candy was forgotten, as the costumed trick-or-treaters found themselves in mouthwatering delight over simple carrots. They ate them, they played swords with them, and then the carrots were gone–into the deep of their digestive systems.

All kids like fresh juicy fruits and vegetables, so why do we think we have to give them junky candy to provide fun and festivity? Ultimately, Halloween came and went with the pleasure of accumulating a mass amount of candy and sacrificing it to the Halloween Monster (a good garbage disposal is perfect) once again. No cavities, no stomach aches, no sugar fits–just fun, happy memories. It can be done, my friends. Kids follow your lead. Lead wisely. Here’s to giving them real treats instead of tricking them with fake ones.

The Danger of Social Conditioning: Part One

Are we the rulers of our own destinies or mere products of social conditioning? This age-old question takes on new meaning when directed at our dietary lifestyles—and in light of the adage that “you are what you eat.”

From infancy we are trained by our parents, our peers, the media, and other authorities in widely accepted eating habits and behaviors. For better or worse, right or wrong, we blindly absorb these habits (and literally absorb the very substances that we consume) deep in the fabric of our beings. The road to health, weight loss, and enlightenment begins with an awareness of our social conditioning—or our social programming.

When we act without consciousness, without asking why or discerning between truths and illusions of truth, we are no better than programmed computers. The fact is, we humans are highly programmable, which is good to a degree. We can retain a lot of information and our bodies are governed by certain important codes—such as the consistent rates at which our hearts beat, how we metabolize food, and how our bones grow. Beyond basic involuntary functions, however, we must remember to exercise free will, imagination, and consciousness whenever possible.

Here’s the problem: The modern breed of human, programmed by social behaviors and chemical stimulants (such as processed sugars, flour, caffeine, and countless prescription and over-the-counter drugs), generally runs on autopilot. Even highly creative and innovative people who work outside the mainstream still fall prey to dangerous habits and food addictions. Modern people have become terribly predictable in patterns of social interaction, consumption, and physical degeneration, whereby every action becomes simply a reaction to a programmed (albeit socially accepted) behavior. It takes much vision, courage, and determination to get out from under the years of social conditioning to discover our true, healthy selves.

Along the way, at least for a time, most of us fall for the conventional wisdom that the key to health is to be found in the almighty calorie, fat gram, and grueling gym workout. Consider the common daily practice of eating large, fibrous breakfasts, snacking on low-calorie processed foods, consuming cooked animal flesh, and logging countless miles on the treadmill. Now consider the common sense of detoxifying and nourishing every cell of the body through juicing, consuming fresh fruits and vegetables in simple, digestible combinations, and using gentle cleansing methods—which are at the heart of my diet philosophy.

In my years of practice as a nutritionist, I’ve seen the painful effects of the conventional “healthy” diet on countless individuals and families. People today are riddled with symptoms and have little understanding of the root causes. For example, many a client struggling with their weight will be surprised to learn that skim milk, chicken breasts, and diet bars are only going to make them age faster and accumulate more unwanted weight due to the biochemistry of those foods (despite the ads and articles to the contrary). Clients who struggle with constipation are amazed when, after I adjust their diets and take them off of their fiber and flax supplements, they start eliminating on their own like never before. Parents are shocked when I point out the connection between their child’s chronic ear infections and the child’s consumption of milk or soy products—which are deemed “health foods” by conventional authorities.

We are told that while scientists are hard at work finding a cure for cancer, regular mammograms, colonoscopies, and check-ups are the best preventative measures. Nowhere is it explained that the organs will protect themselves from the onslaught of toxicity that saturates the tissues from decades of harmful consumption by creating tumors (little houses of toxicity to keep the poison out of the organ) as a last resort! Cancer can also be passed along through the DNA from generations of unfit living (which corrupt healthy DNA codes), and can become manifest in the body from repressed, intense emotional pain.

Who among the programmed masses will recognize such truths and change their lives accordingly? This blog is for those among you with the ears to hear and the eyes to see that we must rethink our whole approach to health. Remember, real change begins in the mind, our creative source, which has the power to conceive new ideas and birth them into reality.

Are you ready to liberate yourself from the programmed masses, to lift yourself up and out of conventional consciousness and open your eyes to greater self-realization? Are you ready to shed away the years of marketing and cynicism, the pounds of junk food and junk ideals that have preyed on your worst fears? Are you ready to release yourself from the grip of fear and self-loathing to achieve your goals?

When you are ready—whether it is now, or in a week, or a month from now—you will know it. You will know because it’s an amazing feeling suddenly to look upon your old belief systems and watch them fall away from you, one by one, as a liberating consciousness rises in their place. You might even worry that no one in the world will understand you anymore, but I assure you that every day more and more people are awakening to the possibilities of this new way of living.

When you realize how the body was intended to eat, how it struggles to function under the onslaught of unfit substances that are the social norm, you will start to see how many other aspects of social conditioning you have blindly accepted that do not serve your wholeness. As you discover the true meaning of nourishment, you will look and feel better than you ever thought possible!

Relationship Detox

When you cleanse your body you become much more sensitized to other aspects of your life. You will naturally want to organize and cleanse your immediate environment, such as your house or office space. Then, at a certain point, you will be ready to examine your relationships—how you respond to others, whom you choose to spend your time with, what levels of intimacy you seek, whether to engage in interpersonal dramas or sign up for certain social commitments, and so on.

Physical cleansing makes it much easier to identify those relationships that attract a higher caliber of experience and those that do not.

If you have heavily clogged cells, you will tend to be tired, depressed, compromised, dissatisfied, and vulnerable. You will be quick to anger, jealous, defensive, and irrational. If you are a clean-celled individual who has objectively assessed your life-programs and social conditioning and recovered your authenticity, you will tend to be calm, clear, and generally much better equipped to choose good relationships and establish harmony among family, friends and co-workers.

When you bring a clear-flowing body, heart, and mind to a previously difficult relationship, you will find one of two things happen: either the relationship will become much more harmonious because the discord had been lying within you, or you will recognize that the other person is burdened with pain and disharmony. In the latter case, you will have to determine if that relationships is salvageable—if they are willing to make the necessary investment to heal and if you have the patience and forgiveness to wait for the healing to take place—or if it is wiser to allow the relationship to dissolve.

Before you make any major relationship decisions, particularly related to marriage or divorce, I strongly suggest doing a deep tissue cleanse and reviewing the possible social conditionings that may be blocking your authenticity. If both of you in the relationship are willing to approach cleansing on all levels—physical, emotional, and spiritual—as a kind of “couples therapy” (either separate from or in tandem with more traditional therapy), your chances are much better for mutual understanding and conflict resolution.

However, before you start trying to detoxify your relationships, be sure to take a good look at yourself. Typically, once you detoxify your relationship with yourself, you will be able to elevate your other relationships with ease. This is because the hardest part is identifying and then breaking free of the belief systems and social programming that you have absorbed over your lifetime in order to reveal your authentic self.

At first it will be hard to discern between your programmed self and your authentic self, but it will become easier as you start to draw the connections between your actions and the programming behind them. Before you let another argument get the better of you or destroy another relationship with anger, take the time to clear yourself of your physical and emotional blocks and see what happens. If you’re brave enough to allow your ego to surrender to the process, you’ll find it to be the most liberating experience—and really quite fun!

Before you fall back into the old patterns of a discordant relationship, find out who you truly are on the inside. When your cells are clean and your body is balanced, you will see the root of your interactions much more clearly and be better able to achieve peace and healing.

Overeating and Relationship Toxicity

Much of the overeating and junk food consumption I see in my clients originates from relationship conflict. When an individual (women in particular) overeats or eats thoughtlessly, it can almost always be traced back to relationship turbulence—unexpressed hurt, a fight with a parent, friend or co-worker, or an old, deep wound from a relationship that was never honestly addressed.

Imagine: Just like on the Internet or in the neurotransmitters in the brain, there are these invisible lines of energy that run between people. If the feelings in the relationship are supportive, harmonious, and life-generating, a healthy and harmonious energy will flow between them through an invisible cord. If the feelings are painful, distrustful, or angry, an unhealthy, erratic energy will flow between them through an invisible cord.

Now, imagine yourself in the middle of a circle of all the people you’ve come into contact with in your life. A current of energy extends between you and each person on that circle. The deeper the relationships, the thicker the cord will be. Some of those cords will transmit harmonious currents of energy, others will transmit neutral currents, and yet others will transmit disturbing currents that threaten to throw you off balance.

The dangerous cords trigger anxiety, and sometimes can be traced to an “energy vampire”—someone who lives off your energy by engaging you in exhausting dramas, emitting past resentments, or even unconsciously soaking in your energy to feed his or her own. Energy vampires will leave you feeling drained, depressed, and sometimes downright sick because they leach your life force.

Remember, everything is energy. Emotions and thoughts move between people in relationships even if the people are not in the same room.

For truly effective, long-term detoxification, you must ultimately detoxify your relationships as well as your body and physical environments. Otherwise, the toxic relationship cords might pull you right back to an emotional state that’s ripe for disordered eating.

How to Dissolve Damaging Relationship Energy Cords

First, you must look honestly at the relationships in your life to see if the energy cords are transmitting useful energy in both directions, or simply weakening one or both parties. In our mainstream culture we are steeped in drama. The media bombards us with television dramas, movie dramas, celebrity dramas, political dramas, news dramas—dramas of every kind. We soak in dramas in our workplaces and in our communities. In fact, so much of the information we take in every day is rooted in human drama. We mimic these dramas in our personal lives in ways that go completely unnoticed by us because they are so common. That is how dramas can override our authenticity and make us reactionary beings—like programmed robots reacting to situations based on what we have learned from others.

Once you know what to look for, it’s easy to identify these types of relationships. They are often characterized by unhealthy competition, jealousy, repressed anger, and socially conditioned expectations—energies that are transmitted through your relationship cord. Cutting these cords and seeking to eliminate thoughtless interaction will drastically reduce overeating and self-sabotage. It is one of the most healing steps you can take in your life.

Imagine yourself surrounded by a powerful violet, white-gold and pink flame and watch the flame expand to burn away every old energy cord with the people in your life. Then imagine yourself reinstating healthy cords with those who are very close to you and with whom you wish to share supportive, life-generating energy. You will never destroy anything useful with this pure three-fold flame.

You may wish to practice this exercise every day for a week to ensure it is done. Next, you must commit yourself to stepping out of any destructive dramas that emerge to create and feed inharmonious energy, much in the same way that you have committed yourself to protecting your cleansed body from re-accumulating waste from unfit foods. As a result, your relationships will glow with new health.

Satisfying Romantic Relationships

One of the major causes of overeating in adult women is their dissatisfaction with their romantic relationships. One of my favorite metaphysical writers and teachers, J.J. Dewey, sheds special light on this issue.

In his book, Molecular Relationships, Dewey explains that because women are polarized as “receivers” (with a natural negative/receptive charge) and men are polarized as “radiators” (with a natural positive/phallic charge), women must choose mates who can “radiate” energy in order to satisfy them. Dewey does not mean that men need to give women material things. Rather, women require their mates to be slightly more consciously evolved than they are so they can receive inspiration and guidance that supports their conscious evolution. Of course, women can and frequently will radiate (give off light/knowledge) for their men as well. But in order for a woman to be truly satisfied in her relationship with her mate, he must be able to send energy to her that can help her grow.

A man, likewise, needs a woman who wishes to receive and grow from what he has to give to her. This does not mean that men have more to offer than women or to establish black-and-white differences between the sexes. Rather, this means that a woman who is highly evolved or highly intelligent needs to find a mate who is slightly more evolved or more intelligent than she is. If she settles for less, she risks dissatisfaction. If you are a single woman, you might ponder this and shift your criterion as you look for a fulfilling partner.

Enjoy removing all that stands between you and your complete freedom. Remember, you are an unlimited being, forever awakening, evolving, and realizing the enormity of your light! What a ride of self-discovery this is!

On Eating Disorders

A beautiful thing never gives so much pain as does failing to hear and see it.

All modern eating is disordered eating. The consumption of processed foods in thoughtless combinations, three meals a day plus snacks, all the grain, flesh, packaged foods and drinks—all of this is grossly unfit for the human body. The FDA guidelines and food pyramids themselves are disordered.

Eating disorders are not the exclusive domain of anorexia, bulimia, and overeating. These “text book” disorders are poorly understood and treated. The common threads that anorexics and bulimics all share are:

1) They are usually of above average intelligence.
2) They are typically (but not always) from high-income households or backgrounds.
3) They are angry about something, usually unconsciously.
4) From an early age, they have picked up from authority figures that they must not say what they really wish to say, because the people who ought to hear it either won’t want to hear it or will harshly refute it.

This last point is extremely important because the voice and the ingestion of food both correspond with the throat—a major energy center in the body, which some of you may know of as the “throat chakra.” The throat chakra becomes imbalanced when personal expression, which is its main raison d’être, is stifled. Keep this in mind as you read on…

When you raise a girl with above average intelligence in the typical fashion, she will naturally pick up on all the paradoxes and hypocrisy of her world (i.e., adults say one thing but do another; adults frequently use terms like “love,” “commitment,” “respect” and “integrity” yet betray those values with their behaviors). She witnesses that, despite all the education, class expectations, climbing of social and corporate ladders, and the amassing of wealth, the adults around her show no signs of true happiness, self-confidence, individuality, or selflessness.

Subconsciously, the mind of a bright girl stores up all these observations. As society puts her through the “proper young lady” assembly line, she starts to lose touch with her authenticity (and, with it, her keen perception) as she absorbs the customary rules and definitions assigned to her. Her subconscious doesn’t forget, though. It knows that something of great value was taken from her, and this manifests in little things at first: mild discontent, talking back, contempt for her parents—or, on the flipside, an intense desire to please or to be perfect.

She also learns that the way adults do things is not to be questioned or discussed, but blindly accepted. And if she is to be considered a success and gain the much desired approval of her elders, she is meant to fall into line with these customs and live up to their values. Her peers are experiencing the same thing and thus serve to reinforce this message in both spoken and unspoken ways. The girl is left to swallow her confusion day after day.

By this point she feels powerless to change the outside world. But wait! There is still one thing left within her power to dictate—her body. Thus she begins to exert the little control she feels she can over what she does and does not put into her mouth. She either closes off her throat center to defend her boarders (anorexia) or she overeats, feeding herself the love and attention that she craves, and then purging it as a way to express her feelings, violently and furiously, into the only thing that she knows will receive it—the toilet (bulimia). The fact that society worships the ideal of skinny, “sexy” fashion models only reinforces the girl’s behavior.

Anorexia and bulimia are two sides of the same coin. Anorexia is a woman’s self-protective response to defend her borders against that which she perceives to violate her (food becomes symbolic of the society that has stolen her innocence, her clarity and authenticity). Bulimia is a way of stuffing herself numb from the pain of being unheard and hurt by her world, and a violent, angry rejection of what she has been told to accept. When no one will hear her (not even the eating disorder institutions that only uphold the madness of the world that her spirit rejects), she seeks expression and release from her fury in the confined “safe” space of the bathroom. This form of release, of course, becomes her prison. This is how the girl deals with society’s double-edged sword.

Instead of recognizing and treating the true cause of her eating disorder, at the first sign of straying from the norm the authorities label her and send her off to a center where she is forced to swallow more of the same suffocating conformity and violation of her spirit. Within the walls of the center, she is forced to learn what “normal” eating habits are (as if she didn’t already know) and then instructed to model these “good” habits to demonstrate she’s well enough to function in the world again.

Of course, such girls do not actually get better. If they appear to be doing well enough to re-enter the world, it’s only because they’ve suppressed their pain more deeply—because once again they have received the clear message that they will not be heard. At a certain point, they find it easier to numb themselves than to continue to be disappointed.

Overeating disorders are commonly due in part to food addictions that take over once the body has become a full-fledged host to yeasts. When a woman goes through an entire loaf of bread or a bag of cookies or chips, these foods are feeding the yeast in her body, and the yeast keeps sending them out for more. The other part of overeating is the desire to fill a feeling of emptiness with food.

But the most prevalent eating disorder is so common that it passes for normal today. Most girls may not be outright starving themselves or purging, but they are nonetheless suffering enormously with their bodies and dieting. The average girl is infatuated with having “a good body.” This is as common as wearing makeup, and takes root at a younger and younger age. I’ve seen it manifesting as early as the second grade!

It is overlooked as normal for girls to diet all the time now. The reality is that these girls are suffering from the all-consuming focus, time and energy that conventional dieting requires. I have yet to encounter a young woman this year who is not in some way distressed about her body. Speaking as someone who was plagued by this infatuation as a teenager and knows its insidious depths, I can say without hesitation that this phenomenon drives an epidemic of suffering among girls.

The pretty girls, the thin girls, the smart girls, the girls you wouldn’t think even give it a second’s thought, who seem impervious to body image insecurities, all have it and think about it, plan around it, condemn themselves for what they eat, and are generally consumed by it around the clock! Most of the time their parents know and ignore it—either because they have the same issues or have been projecting the importance of being thin onto their daughters and see nothing wrong with it.

Most disturbingly, parents and society contradict their own message by perpetuating a way of eating that is doomed to make girls imbalanced, heavy, moody and generally less than naturally beautiful. This makes no sense at all. You cannot feed your infant baby formula (depriving it of the most important chance of seeding the intestine with good bacteria/flora from mother’s milk), and then proceed to feed a child on mainstream grocery products that accumulate in the body for thirteen years, and then expect her body to utterly defy nature and blossom with gorgeous legs, a perfect midriff and flawless, dewy skin! You sow the seeds of your child’s body every day. You cannot harvest healthy, beautiful fruit in poisonous soil.

Parents, you cannot adhere to the social norms around food and then expect your girls to enjoy a naturally healthy, lean body! This is cruel because your girls don’t understand why they are plagued with their physical imbalances. They feel limited to two decisions: either enter a diet-prison or just be heavy and uncomfortable. Either way is torture!

We are a “Hi, how are you? You look great!” culture. Our social interactions are typically robotic reflex expressions that reinforce that how we look should somehow tell the story of our lives. Well, take off the makeup, the designer clothes, put down the Prada handbag and kick off the Monolos, then let me see how you really are. A façade of drugstore beauty expresses nothing except an effort to keep up socially acceptable appearances.

Some of my clients have reported that when they were practicing the most severe methods of their eating disorders, they received the most effusive acceptance from their family and peers. Imagine how confusing that is!

It’s high time we unveil the reality. If you want your girls to grow into beauties, you have to raise them in harmony with the natural laws—starting from birth by prioritizing breastfeeding on demand, lots of time in your arms to satisfy the love that they will otherwise look for in food, and making the time and effort to stock your kitchen with plant food. Reach for what’s natural and real, not just for convenience. A healthy, beautiful girl does not emerge from years of packaged foods and lack of loving attention!

A Way Out

I have held the hands of many anorexics and bulimics across the threshold back to their authentic, balanced selves using the dietary guidelines in my books—along with a thorough dredging and releasing of the true origin of their anger, what they truly long to express, and their social programming.

As a result, instead of using their throats as weapons of exploding emotion, their throats become pathways for honest and free expression and welcome foods rich in life force. These girls need truth served up in hearty quantities of fresh vegetable juice, raw salads with avocado and baked roots, so they can discover that food can be nourishing and satisfying while restoring them to their naturally beautiful, lean bodies.

In my experience, the most effective way to help cure someone of her eating disorder is to lead her to the following truths:

• She does not have to conform to “normal” ways of eating to be healthy, strong or socially acceptable.
• She can get pleasure and satisfaction from food while feeling light in her body and loving the way she looks. (This is usually the most important factor for women with all levels of food issues.)
• She needs a safe place to dredge up what she really wants to say, and say it again and again until she feels heard by someone who can listen with complete receptivity.
• The adults in her life have just been repeating what they know. Just as you can forgive a first grader for not being able to do calculus, you can forgive a parent or other authority figure for being misguided and unaware.
• Finally, she is not alone.

I try to introduce my young clients (in their late teens and early twenties) to each other. Usually, they take to each other immediately and become great friends who can understand and support each other. More of these young people who are identifying and rejecting the root causes that have led them to their disorders and who are adopting a more enlightened approach need to find each other and live out their highest ideals with each others’ support and companionship. Caring grown-ups should encourage and facilitate this.

Drug and alcohol abuse have similar origins, coming from a desire to numb, consume and escape. Rebellious behavior is a young person’s way of expressing his or her deep dissatisfaction with the adult world. Kids rebel because they want nothing to do with social norms, and yet they sense that their last-ditch efforts to avoid conformity will ultimately fail. Alcohol and drug abuse and eating disorders are all expressions of distrust and disgust with the bill of goods they’ve been sold. When you really think about it, who can blame them?

Let the Truth Set You Free of Your Diet Obsessions

Have you wondered why many of my blogs seem to have nothing to do with food and diet when you come to this website predominantly for nutrition and diet information? If so, I’m happy to take this moment to explain.

First, the whole reason for cleaning up the diet is to free yourself of concern over what to eat and how to stay healthy so you can enjoy greater contentment and clarity and be more present in your life. This work is not just about healing physical imbalances and looking more attractive. It’s about establishing the very foundation of a richer, more evolved lifestyle.

Second, once you have made this way of eating part of the natural rhythm in your daily routine, it’s time to clear the emotional and mental blockages. Cleansing and empowering your other energy centers will make it easier to release any remaining issues around food.

Third, the specificity of the diet has been fully covered in my books, web content, audio release for women and, finally, in my latest book which will be coming out this spring, Detox for Women. However, the universal laws of the body (which recognize health as clean cells) are what matter most, not the minutiae of new nutrition facts that just distract us from the core truths.

Nonetheless, the minutiae are what many people are seeking. “What’s new in health?” and “Should I be taking a super-food or macca powder or MSM?” are the kinds of questions I’m frequently asked. Try not to fall into this trap. By all means, read and study as much as necessary to digest and assimilate the information, but once you learn the core physical laws, I urge you to stay focused on the method of cleansing. You who have followed this work are no longer “seekers”—you are implementers and adepts. This work is simple and eternal: awaken and release the waste based on your transition level (adjusted for women who may be “yeasted” per my audio release).

Food has become a social obsession in our culture. I’m trying to set people free of that obsession rather than feed it. This is why I have shown you how to detoxify intelligently and how to keep food simple and delicious so you can enjoy what you eat. Once you’ve mastered these practices, they should no longer occupy your mind—just as should not have to focus on multiplication tables once you have memorized them. It will become a natural way of life, your body will respond with health and vitality, and you will discover that physical cleansing is just a gateway to more creative endeavors.

One reader recently told me she wished I would hold lectures like the major raw food proponents. Since they were actively speaking and she was hungry for more diet information, she allowed herself to be swayed by their fervor that “raw is the law” and can be eaten in any quantities and in any combinations. Now, of course, she was feeling unwell and heavy and she wished she had not listened to them. Fortunately, since our conversation, she has remedied her mistakes and is feeling great again!

I caution you strongly to weigh the messages of these fervent raw food lectures or other dietary messages with what you have learned here about natural law and the “awaken and release” technique underlying intelligent cleansing. I might do more lectures in the future, but for now the information is here for the taking. If you have discovered that it works for you, don’t compromise by changing it because someone can speak convincingly about the virtues of a product or other detox program.

I cannot tell you how many raw food business owners (particularly women) come to me saying they are not feeling well—they are feeling tired, bloated and constipated rather than experiencing the “high” of the raw lifestyle despite their strict adherence to it. I explain why and show them how to fix their imbalances, addressing food combining, the density of the foods they are eating, the importance of some cooked vegetables at dinner, and bowel cleansing. They inevitably look wide-eyed at the mere thought of steamed broccoli or a baked yam and begin to salivate, but then quickly interject “I could never” because they have been preaching a 100% raw food diet to their customers.

The idea that in order to reap the benefits of raw food you must eat 100% raw misrepresents the whole purpose of raw food and ignores transition completely. When 100% raw food fanatics take the leap and indulge in some cooked vegetables, they immediately feel better, their bowels start working again overnight, and they become energized and lean. They are stumped…how could this be? They thought cooked food was evil.

Remember, a person who can get up in front of a crowd and convince you that something is true doesn’t necessarily know the truth. While a lecturer may not be deliberately trying to mislead you, he or she might be wrapped up in a particular agenda and belief system that is not for your highest good.

Politicians, religious leaders, sales clerks, and motivational speakers at large are usually very convincing, and health enthusiasts are no different. But common sense tells us we must be highly discerning. There is a lot of information out there and countless self-proclaimed experts who are vying for your mind and yet know nothing about the true laws of nature. Please be discerning with all that you hear, even with what I tell you. Measure everything against the highest good that you know.

If you have fallen into this trap, remember that the truth will always wait patiently for you to return to it—but it’s not going to chase you either. When you’ve had your fill with all the information floating around, all the sales pitches, all the complicated nutrition advice sending you to this supplement and that super-food powder and that micronutrient, the truth will be here in its simplicity, without any pomp and grandeur, waiting for you to rest your weary dietary confusion on its shores.

The 5 Truths of Nurturing Psychological and Emotional Balance in Our Children

Now and then a subject comes up that captures my attention so much that I have to drop everything—all of my projects and daily plans—to address it. This happened to me today as I read “The Bipolar Puzzle” by Jennifer Egan inThe New York Times Magazine. In this article, Egan investigates portraits of families with children diagnosed as bi-polar/manic depressive. She reveals the day-to-day battles, including explosive fits, sibling trauma, deep family pain, confusing doctor visits, ever-changing diagnoses, and multiple yet mostly ineffective attempts at medicating with Ritalin, Risperdal, Depakote, Lamictal (both anti-seizure drugs), psychotropics, and Lithium.

These stories do not have happy endings.

The painful mental and emotional imbalances that are manifesting in children today are beyond the scope of psychiatrists and medications. As I always say, pain is a call for change, so the greater the pain, the louder the call for change. The common childhood imbalances (diagnosed as ADHD, bi-polar/manic depressive, and hyperactivity) clearly show that significant changes are in order, but the necessary changes are often difficult for parents and doctors to recognize or accept.

Let me spotlight five truths that lead to the kind of disconnect that inevitably results in our children’s emotional and mental imbalances. We must recognize these critical pieces of the puzzle if we are to protect our children and their futures.

1. Love with a capital “L” is the primary ingredient: Let’s understand what this really means. Of course, everyone says, “I love my child.” But few people today recognize that Love is a vibration, a pure current of energy. You give and share Love when your body harmonizes with that vibration. When most people say they love something, what they mean is that either they admire it or would like to be near it to feel more complete, safe, or powerful. To these people, I would say: Do not mistake Love for not mutual need or mutual admiration. 

Most people were not Loved properly by their parents so they don’t know what unconditional Love really feels like. How can you consciously give Love if you don’t even know what it is? When you emanate pure Love, everyone around you will receive it. You can amplify this current and direct it as you wish, to connect with others.

In order to tap into the pure current of Love, you must clear the cacophony of combative currents—including anxiety, fear, strain, impatience, and selfish intent. Not an easy task, because most people are wired by the modern world to carry these kinds of currents on a daily basis. How can children possibly be calm and harmonious when they swim in the energetic field of their parents’ inharmonious lives?

We want happy, balanced children, and yet children absorb and reflect their parents and their environments. They carry through their very DNA the experiences of the family lineage just as they do their hair, skin, eye color, height, and bone structure. Let us not overlook our emotional genes!

Love is essential to human development. Add to this fact that the drugs used to correct emotional imbalances don’t actually dissolve pain, but only suppress it, just as a cold suppressant only relieves symptoms temporarily. Human pain is powerful, explosive, and should never be suppressed. Suppression only sets the stage for much more acute emotional pain and mental imbalance down the line.
The only true course of healing is for parents to begin the profound process of dissolving their own emotional pain and social programming, which block the Love vibration from their children. How do you do this? Put aside time every day to reflect on why you act and react as you do. Write down all the social conditionings, inner pains, frustrations, fears, resentments, regrets, and hurts that may be directing your life in both obvious and subtle ways. See how they block clarity and harmony in your life.

Also, you must gradually wean yourself off stimulants (such as white flour, sugars, alcohol, nicotine, drugs, etc.) that you are addicted to and which block free, self-directed choice. If you don’t want your children to be victims of addiction, the change must start with you.

2. We must honor the sacred “fourth trimester.” I adopted this wonderful concept of “the fourth trimester” from the essential parenting book The Continuum Concept by Jean Liedloff. In the first 100 days following birth, a baby needs nearly constant contact with its mother (or other loving caregiver, if necessary). The baby must adjust from about 40 weeks of total security and warmth in the womb to the lonely world of cribs, rockers, and strollers. Ancient cultures understood that the 100 days following birth are sacred, and in many traditions, such as in Tibet, the baby was never taken out of the hearth of its family home during the first three months of its life.

In our culture, infants are almost instantly thrust into car seats, malls, and strangers’ arms long before they are emotionally ready to absorb the violent energies of the modern world. We argue that our lifestyle makes this a necessity, but too often the price we pay is an emotionally and mentally imbalanced child. As so many parents are discovering, there is no miracle cure—the drugs are not working (in fact, they are highly toxic and cause other imbalances) and therapy can only do so much. The inconvenience of honoring the “fourth trimester” is miniscule compared to that of trying to rebalance a child who has been thrown off balance from the moment of birth.

3. Proper feeding according to natural law is essential: Nature’s design is perfect. Breastfeeding delivers the ideal food to the infant and offers the essential closeness the mother and baby need to share their love and connect with each other’s essence. Granted, women today do not have the purest breast milk and are not always calm when they breastfeed, but it remains the best option available.

Follow up with a proper toddler and childhood diet of consistently clean, unadulterated foods. Feeding your child formula, soy, and rice cereals will lead to gas, intestinal distress, and addiction, which will likely translate to fatigue, moodiness, and hyperactivity.

4. The perils of television are insidious: Watching the occasional episode of children’s shows like “The Smurfs” or “Dragon Tales” is probably perfectly benign in the large scheme of things. But in most households today, the TV is a constant presence. Children are watching shows that cultivate a herd mentality, and even worse, they are absorbing commercials that are filled with subliminal messages designed to program their minds.

I let my own kids, ages 6 and 8, pick among videos that I feel are appropriate and that they really enjoy (such as Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, and many other movies that are rich with imagination, sharp wit, and good humor). Sometimes, I’ll even find a show they can watch on TV—but only for an episode at a time, to shield them from the barrage of commercials. But I strictly limit them to one show or video per day.

Believe it or not, this does not have to turn you into an overly controlling, “mean” parent, as long as you explain to your kids what the parameters are and, with older children, why you have set these parameters while their friends may have different ones. My kids have always been agreeable to this approach. Children like direction and they like to understand your logic. If you are sensible, they’ll usually appreciate it in their own way—even if they grumble a bit!

5. Video games create and contribute to imbalances: Just about every family in America has video games. The children I know who are suffering from the worst emotional imbalances play with them all the time. Video games are absolutely poisonous: they steal our children’s time, their imaginations, and their energy, and they wreak havoc on their brain waves. If you have a child suffering from attention issues, hyperactivity, or any of the more acute imbalances mentioned above, you must wean your child off video games. The lifestyle that includes video games tends also to include unfit foods, disconnected emotional relationships, over-emphasis on test scores and appearances, and other misguided modern approaches to parenting. Now before you throw your son’s Gameboy at me, give it more thought!

If you have children, consider these five points at your own level of awakening to conscious parenting. Let’s not forsake our children’s mental and emotional health for our illusions of progress. Raising children is a bigger responsibility than having the income to support them or knowing how to strap them into a car seat (though those things are very important, too!). The responsibility of parenting starts with understanding the human being, knowing what supports its growth and what undermines it.

We must offer our children a continuous current of pure Love by embracing them throughout the months following birth, keeping their cells and tissues clean with natural foods, and protecting their minds from the insidious programming of television and video games. This is essential for balanced human development. Instead of relying on endless, conflicting research studies and toxic medications, let’s prioritize these basic truths of good parenting. That is the surest way to restore order where there is disorder.

Do You Ever Feel Lonely?

Do you ever feel lonely as you pursue the higher truths of this diet-lifestyle? Well, you’re not alone. If I had a tomato for everyone who has recently described to me this aspect of cleansing, I could make a batch of gazpacho big enough for all of you!

I am the first to admit that turning your back on the common ways of thinking, living and eating is challenging. I’ve felt deeply lonely at times. I’ve cursed having to give up certain foods and drinks, and I’ve felt massive disapproval from the crowd for questioning commonly accepted beliefs. But the incomparable bliss that comes with living according to your highest good is more than worth it!

Whenever you move away from the herd mentality and toward advanced knowledge, you initially experience a sense of loss, deprivation, and solitude. This is the moment when “the knight comes face-to-face with the dragon.” You may either run from it and return to the comfort of the herd or slay it and heed your soul’s deepest desire for growth. Of course, it’s scary to face the dragon. It takes courage to stand up to the social norms—the parents, friends, spouses, and authority figures—and say, “I’m no longer going to conform to what everyone else does because it is not serving my highest good.”

So many of you are coming to the realization that all that you’ve been told about food, health, the origins of illness, and the methods of correcting them are wrong. That is not an easy place to find yourself in, when the rest of the world appears to be going along quite happily with all the nonsense. When other people appear effortlessly healthy and thin despite their mainstream diets, you might wonder why you have chosen this path or why you must work harder than others.

What you forget is that these other people, all appearances aside, are not functioning well: they need their coffee or their cigarettes or their drugs to keep them going. You have no idea what they do to create the appearance of being okay. I work with models, actresses, socialites and 99% of the time the story is the same: they either eat next to nothing (and purge when they eat more) or live off of chemical stimulation. It’s not helpful to compare yourself to them.

Try not to let self-doubt and fear lead you to the most uncomfortable place of all—the depths of loneliness, where you are stuck looking at the truth while still slumming it with the herd. If you do find yourself there, take the opportunity to slay the dragon! It’s a matter of personal choice. You can continue to follow the path of least resistance (the herd) or you can exercise intelligent resistance and choose the higher path.

In truth you are not alone. It’s time to recognize each other and feel a part of a very special community. When you discover how many brilliant, hip, highly educated people have come to the same conclusions you have, you will be able to leap up and slay the dragon faster that I can open a young coconut! Of course, it’s not exactly that easy, nor is it supposed to be. You are the frontline of this movement, clearing the path for those who will follow and need your guidance.

Whenever you feel torn about the changes you’re making, remember that the herd is blindly following a path of destruction, led by an even blinder authority whose rules strip each individual of his or her power. It takes courage and a sense of personal responsibility to follow this higher path, but it will empower you and lead you to a life of beauty, truth and radiance.

Follow your soul’s impulse to leave the herd and soar on the wings of independence and advanced knowledge to the light!

The Truth about Fasting and Answers to Your FAQs

Water fasting, juice fasting, liver cleanses, blended food fasts, the Master Cleanse…the list goes on and on. According to Spins, the market research company, sales of herbal cleansing products tripled to nearly $28 million worldwide last year. This figure reflects a tremendous growing interest in fasting, but it also reflects a lot of false advertising and misguided product use.

The whole point of fasting is to rest the system from digestion so that all the body’s energy can be used to improve its own functioning. Eating, assimilating, digesting, and eliminating take a lot of energy away from other necessary functions in the body, such as clearing the body of waste residue from meals past, turning over new cells quickly, and metabolizing substances efficiently. When food, drink, pharmaceuticals, and other substances are consumed in large quantities, as they typically are in our culture, it’s impossible for the body to maintain a smoothly operating system.

Imagine an assembly line that has run amok. That’s your body on three or more meals a day, plus snacks—eek! This inevitably backs up the system, which leads to many physical (as well as emotional and mental) imbalances. When we fast, we give our body the opportunity to catch up on the backlog of work that has piled up. Any bad press that fasting has received comes from people doing it improperly. It can be a powerful tool if used with intelligence, nuance, and skill. It is not as simple as trading in a fork for a straw. Here are my answers to some of your most frequently asked questions to help you get the most out of your fast:

As someone who is new to this, what’s the right level of fasting for me?

Just as you would not go from a sedentary lifestyle to running the New York City Marathon in a day, the same logic applies. If you are relatively new to cleansing, you probably don’t need to do a full fast, and generally I would not recommend it. It would be best to start out on a daily routine of juicing until lunch (essentially a mini-fast) and properly combining what I call Quick Exit foods for your meals. This will create such a dramatic shift in the body that it will immediately start to go into cleansing/healing mode. Fasting at this stage would only encourage more old waste to be dredged up than your body can cope with.

Would you recommend the Master Cleanse?

The Master Cleanse (the most-searched recipe on Google in 2007) is popular because it offers a quick, inexpensive fasting experience. Granted, most people feel great after the Master Cleanse because they have given their body a break from food and eliminated some waste. It also includes some electrolytes and sugars to prevent people from passing out, but that’s where the benefits end.

I do not recommend the Master Cleanse! The lemon juice and maple syrup concoction doesn’t hold a candle to juice fasting, and it can do more harm than good. This cleanse starves the cells and fails to support the body with all the enzymes and life force it needs to rebuild while resting from digestion. Moreover, the maple syrup component feeds yeast, which most women in this country have too much of to begin with, making it virtually impossible for them to lose weight and feel better. The goal is to incorporate fasting as part of a cleansing lifestyle, not to treat it as a quick fix.

What is the best way to fast?

Mix any veggie juice combinations you enjoy, but I recommend making at least half of the juices green-based such as the Green Lemonade or a simple carrot-romaine combo. The other juices could be citrus or freshly pressed fruits (in small quantities, best diluted with water or green juices). Try herbal tea with stevia or fresh vegetable broth, which are great for the colder months or for a “fasting dinner.” I also love to drink pure carrot juice with pumpkin pie spice from a mug, for the satisfaction of soup without the fiber. Just be sure all your juices are strained well of fiber to avoid stimulating digestion.

A vegetable juice fast feeds your cells enzymes, chlorophyll (sunlight), life force, vitamins, and trace minerals—all that they need to awake and release as much accumulated waste as possible, with the help of gravity method colonics. The ideal fasting approach is to eat clean, Quick Exit foods daily, and then juice fast a few times a year to go a bit deeper. This is the way to prevent your body’s “assembly line” from ever backing up again!

How much juice is recommended and how long should I fast?

Enjoy as much juice as you need, but it’s never a good idea to over-consume. A good gauge would be 8 to 16 eight-ounce juices, including broths and teas, each day. Always take some pure water when juice fasting. If it’s your first fast and you have already practiced juicing until dinner several times, you could try a 2- to 4-day juice fast. For a longer fast (which I only recommend if you have access to well administered gravity method colon hydro-therapy), you could go as long as 8 to 10 days.

Remember, only continue a fast if you are releasing copious quantities of waste matter, either on your own or with colonics, or else you could get sick. The body is not designed to pass today a Taco Bell meal that you ate in 1984 in its post-putrefactive form! If you are not releasing matter in your colonics or enemas by day 5, you should break the fast with a salad and steamed vegetables. For an advanced faster, fruits are the ideal “breakfast.” Know yourself. If you have a history of high-protein diets and mainstream foods, never break your first few fasts with fruit, as it could react with the awakened matter and make you very sick.

How do I know I’m cleansing correctly?

The cleansing part only occurs when the dredged-up waste matter leaves the body. Even the strongest bowels cannot eliminate the quantities of waste that a fast dredges up without the help of colonics, enemas, saunas, sunbaths, and body brushing. Attempting a cleanse through fasting alone is simply to awaken matter and let it return to the tissues and bloodstream in a process called auto-intoxication. This can cause fatigue, headaches, depression, joint pain, stomach cramps, night sweats, and skin eruptions.

With a proper fast, you will feel better on day 7 than on day 3. Beginners and even veteran fasters tend to feel a little less than their best in the first 24 to 48 hours as they adjust. After that initial adjustment, you should feel clearer, lighter, and more energetic—not like you want to curl up in a hole somewhere and wish that it was all over!

After a few days of a juice fast, can I go back to my usual routine?

2 to 4 days of juice fasting addresses only a drop in the ocean of your internal waste matter. You will experience a sense of well-being relative to your state of toxicity, but this doesn’t mean you have tapped the depth of waste that is buried within the tissues. The only way to a deeper cleanse is by eating Quick Exit foods, juicing in the morning (or later, as the case may be), and eating two meals a day (lunch and dinner). Returning to old, conventional habits after fasting will not deliver real results. Your health is a reflection of your daily consumption, not the temporary effects of occasional fasting.

Will I lose weight on a fast and will it stay off?

Yes, you will lose weight on a fast—usually around 1 lb. a day. You can easily keep that weight off by returning to juicing until lunch and eating two Quick Exit meals a day. Of course, if you return to your conventional diet of processed foods, you will probably gain weight again. The trick is to prevent re-accumulation of waste by ensuring the food you eat leaves your body as completely as possible.

Will my metabolism slow down if I fast or stop eating breakfast, as people often say?

A well executed fast actually improves metabolic function. The metabolism is not some phantom part of the body that operates in a vacuum, but the composite of every system in the body constantly breaking down substances that threaten its pristine state. The metabolism keeps the body clear and functioning optimally from the cellular level through (1) ingestion, (2) digestion, (3) absorption, and (4) elimination. Maximum metabolic power comes from ensuring there is never more to metabolize than these systems can gracefully manage.

If the cells become overwhelmed and congested with more than they can reasonably metabolize, the whole body becomes congested and backed up with waste. This is why diets recommending 3 to 5 meals a day are so damaging. The average person today has deeply clogged cells, a condition that can lead to exponentially larger problems with every meal. Juice fasting, mini-fasts, and Quick Exit eating all help correct this problem and thereby support a highly functioning metabolism.

I often marvel at how much stronger and more energized I feel in the weeks following a fast. Valentine’s Day Sex Ed 101: Romance and Reproductive Health

It’s nearly Valentine’s Day—a time to celebrate romantic love. But who are we kidding? We cannot have a healthy, fun romantic life when our sexual organs are dysfunctional. The rates of cervical, ovarian and prostate cancer diagnoses are growing every day (to say nothing of breast cancer). HPV, ovarian cysts, erectile dysfunction, yeast infections, and the common over-the-counter complaints about the nether regions are simply not sexy!! Yet nearly everyone walking around today has something to complain about.

We must admit to the following truths:

1) “Normal” living is not clean living.
2) Unclean bodies produce compromised offspring.
3) There is far more to sexual responsibility than wearing a condom.

Photographic illusions of alluring models may sell products, but “normal” Americans with their distended body parts, bad breath and unhealthy sexual organs are anything but sexy. When you think about love this Valentine’s Day, pull back the veil of plastic illusions and discover the truth: sexy, loving relationships occur between men and women with clean-celled bodies living for the highest good of our micro- and macrocosmic communities. We must take responsibility for the health of our sexual and reproductive organs.

Just about every product that average Americans use on a daily basis negatively impacts sexual health. For example, it’s widely known that underarm deodorants deliver chemicals and heavy metals into the lymph and breast tissue. It’s also generally known that perfumes, dyes and preservatives in mainstream toiletries are carcinogenic and highly acidic to the body. But one particularly toxic product is often overlooked: the tampon.

We never want to jam things into organs that require a flow in the opposite direction. Mothers, tell your daughters: tampons fight the natural flow, creating reverse pressure and leading to ovarian cysts that then lead to bigger issues. Further, all tampons, even the ones at the health food stores, are loaded with highly carcinogenic chemicals that leach into the body—skyrocketing the potential for bladder and cervical cancer and cervical issues! Records show a dramatic discrepancy between the frequency of female cancers before and after the invention of the tampon.

Now, if you need to use a tampon now and then, it should not cause great harm, but use them sparingly! If you are having heavy, uncomfortable periods, it is sign that you are out of balance. Once your body regains its balance, your periods will be shorter and lighter. The pill and IUDs are also extremely damaging with repercussions that are so far-reaching that they will need to be addressed separately. The bottom line is this: Women are poisoning themselves in the name of sex and do not know how to care for their sexual and reproductive health.

Men’s biggest sexual organ issues are prostate trouble and erectile dysfunction. The first is largely caused by the secum and sigmoid in the colon overfilling with waste, which presses into the groin, creating prostatitis. More than 90% of American men over the age of fifty have a prostate issue. The biggest factor that affects the prostate is a high-protein diet. And get this: excessive masturbation also leads to prostate issues, not to mention severely drains a man’s chi. However, when a man is with a woman, her pulsations give him energy, making up for some of his loss. And when real love is actually present in lovemaking, there can be no loss of chi drain since love and chi are the same thing.

According to the I Ching, The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity and Mantak Chia’s works (which are too extensive to list here), men are really only meant to ejaculate ten to thirty-five times a year and ideally no more than once a week for optimal physical health. (Keep in mind that this is just what the ancients recommend for optimal health, so find the balance that is right for you and your relationship.)

Also, the semen of an unclean body carries a lot of microtoxins, which are not good for a man’s partner. This results in a lot of unpleasant reactions in women. The cleaner a woman is internally, the more extreme her reaction will be to the toxic semen. (Again, not sexy!) In fact, there is so much toxicity released in the average man’s semen that he can easily wind up with prostate problems if he doesn’t regularly release some of that built-up toxicity. This is why abstinence in modern men can also lead to prostate trouble.

Finally, we cannot ignore the most obvious part of romance: procreation. Our children are sick, sad and angry. Why? Because people who are internally unclean (their cells are carrying excessive waste matter) are having children, severely compromising the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of these offspring. Children born to parents who eat and live “normally” take on all their parents’ internal problems in their DNA. Before you get too hard on yourself, it’s the build-up of generations and generations unfit consumption and degenerating health. This is how we’ve arrived at a state of widespread illness that has turned us into a pill-popping Prozac Nation.

However, there is a way to turn it all around. The more people cleanse internally through diet and clean living, the better for the future of our kids. Two clean, emotionally, mentally, and physically healthy people who feel deeply attracted to each other and share the vision of a clean, joyful world for their children—now that is sexy! 

This is not a moral or religious conviction. It’s just nature. We are destroying nature with our illusions of what is sexy, romantic and desirable.

If you are trying to get pregnant or wish to have a child sometime in the future, you must understand that generations of poor diets and damaging lifestyles created the childhood diseases that now haunt our culture. A child’s health stems from the parents’ seed (semen) and soil (womb). In fact, the seed is much more of a determining factor in the health of the child than the soil, which means the father’s health is critical for the creation of a healthy child.

Everything we do to our bodies has a direct effect on us and a parallel effect on the future of our world. When we use products or ingest substances that offend the laws of nature, we not only create immediate imbalances in our being, but we pass those imbalances into other realms and stages of our lives, into the next generation, and ultimately to the future of our whole world. How you treat your body and yourself matters—it matters to you, to your partner, to your children, and to your community at large.

Fresh Perspectives on Thanksgiving Dinner

Consider the ancient philosophical concept of the “highest good.” Every moment of every day we must make innumerable choices about what we are going to think, say, or do in every area of our lives. Our lives are streams of moments of chosen experience. Each time we make a choice based on our “highest good” rather than “right” or “wrong” or what is considered socially acceptable, we take a giant leap forward! Sometimes, however, making the highest choice is not easy.

Take the Thanksgiving meal. If you are like me—committed to eating cleanly prepared, light-filled foods—you will probably pass on many of the holiday dishes. (Some leniency may serve your highest good, but that is for you to determine.) Whether you have just begun to practice simple food combinations or you choose to eat salad instead of the traditional feast, you will probably wind up ruffling some feathers at the dinner table.

Whether it’s your grandmother who is insulted that you are not eating her famous stuffing, a friend who is adamant that you are not getting enough protein, or a sister who preferred when you were fat because it made her feel more powerful, you will have your own unique dramas to overcome. I’ve been there many times, as have my clients and readers.

Now, some of you may be tempted to eat like everyone else at the table on Thanksgiving, simply to avoid conflict. You would rather suffer a setback, feel a bit ill, and compromise on what you hold true to make everyone else comfortable. Don’t try to convince yourself that such a choice is selfless and good. To the contrary, it is a case of failing to honor life—yours, your community’s, and the laws of nature. The choice of conformity slows the growth of mankind.

Holiday meals can actually be a superb opportunity for personal growth, if you approach them with confidence and self-sovereignty.

Let’s say that on this Thanksgiving you do choose for your highest good: you eat what looks cleanly prepared and easy to digest, make yourself a plate of greens to go with it, and stop eating when you’re satiated. Now, it’s unlikely that anyone will be bothered by this, but if there is pushback from the crowd, you will find yourself in a position to clearly state your boundaries and interests. Take this opportunity to stand your ground and speak up for what is life-generating in the human body—in a gentle, compassionate, but firm way.

Your defense may well scare your detractors to the core, because it will call into doubt their own choices, but they will benefit nonetheless. When you speak up for your highest good, you shine a bright light into the darkness, and darkness does not like to be disturbed. Do not take any unpleasant reactions as a personal attack. The best way to establish your boundaries is to allow the skeptics the space to be rattled as you proceed calmly with your choice.

Your agenda is not to convert anyone, but to live as you like without conflict, to feel safe choosing the highest good rather than following “the tribe.” When you live your truth, some people around you will be deeply attracted to it while others will find it highly annoying. So what are you going to do, goose-step around everyone based on how they are likely to receive you? There is a word for always trying to please others: bondage. If you stay true to your highest good, you will realize you are free, even in the face of peer pressure. Now that’s called liberation!

In the same way that we should not attempt to convert others (everyone awakens in their own time), we should not bend our truth to make others comfortable. Once you have established your space confidently and lovingly, people will be drawn to your wisdom and yearn to understand why you have chosen to live and eat in more light-filled ways. This is how your own highest good can gradually serve the highest good of society, which is where things really get exciting!

Most people are feeling very trapped in the old ways of doing things. Traditional holiday foods and gatherings could use a good dose of light—and if you don’t bring it, who will? Go out there and be courageous. Who knows, you might just help lift your fellow man out of despair and usher in a whole new holiday of thanks!

Just Say No to Laxatives!

Hello Angels!

I have received so many emails from you who, in your keenness to cleanse your intestines (which is great), are getting suckered into buying one of the myriad “cleansing” products on the market today (not so great).

There are innumerable different brands, but they are all similar in concept and ingredients. I know how seductive these products’ claims can be and how tempting it can be to try a short-cut method instead of undertaking colon hydrotherapy. These products are cheaper and promise to do the same thing. But please do not be deceived by this! Herbal and chemical laxatives only irritate the intestine, and the fiber products only fill the body with matter (psyllium collects ten times its weight in waste, which cannot be passed without a colonic).

Here is what you need to know: herbal laxatives (cascara sagrada, senna, etc.) and chemical laxatives (such as magnesium sulfate used to prep for colonoscopies) can only clear a minutely small, narrow pathway in the intestine. They do not clean the colon—they just help to release a significant amount of matter, which fools people into thinking they are clean when, in reality, so much more matter is still caked in the intestine.

It’s a bit like a really messy room. You need to walk through that room, so you clear a pathway—this is all the magnesium sulfate (or senna, to a lesser degree) does: clears a narrow pathway. You cannot compare this in any way to the deep hydration and full release of waste matter from the intestinal walls that occurs with a series of good colon hydrotherapy sessions.

Now, don’t be fooled by a pink, “in the clear” colonoscopy. This does not mean you’re not deeply impacted. The colon is made up of layers upon layers of tissue, like a sponge. Just because the visible layer is clear due to the laxative effect of the magnesium sulfate, it does not mean that the intestine is clean. The waste is stored in the layers—and once the layers of tissue fill up, the waste ventures into the body at large. In an effort to maintain equanimity in the organs, the body keeps pushing the accumulated waste into tissues that can manage it—those become your cellulite, your asthma, your eczema, your pimples.

If you have physical imbalances of any kind, you are holding waste in your cells and tissues. The deep impaction is there—even if it doesn’t show up in a colonoscopy. Yes, waste settles in the intestines, but it’s everywhere else too by the time you have a colonoscopy. You must awaken the waste through a cleansing diet and eliminate it through gravity method colon hydrotherapy.

Colonics and home enemas (though the latter is far less effective, as it only clears the lower bowel) are the only viable alternatives to professional gravity colonics. Laxatives are not an alternative at all. In the case of serious constipation, you might use a product called Natural Calm to help loosen some of the matter, but that is the only product that I’d recommend as safe, and only for the short term.

The best thing you can ingest to support your bowel is pure Aloe Vera juice, but unfortunately most of the Aloe juices on the market are ineffective. The only one I recommend is Herbal Answer, which comes in a white bottle and costs about $26. It’s worth it! I recommend mixing in a little stevia to make it palatable. You’ll love the results and should see improvement as soon as the next day.

The only way to cleanse your body is to cleanse every cell in your body. The cells throughout your body can only release waste matter for elimination if the intestines are able to receive them. For this, we first need a clean, clear, receptive large intestine/colon. So we must clean the colon first, then we can have a chance at the rest of the body. Every time the colon empties, more waste from throughout the body—from the cellulite in your thighs to the corrosion in your arterial walls—can be released.
