Welcome to our final week of the Guided Rose Cleanse! You have come a long way and you should be very proud of yourself for honoring your commitment. Even though this physical cleanse is winding down, we hope this is just the beginning of a greater life journey for you. We at Natalia Rose Institute are committed to supporting you into the future. To continue benefiting from the support of others who are on this journey with you, please continue visiting our Virtual Living Room (you have access to this tool for 60 days from the time of your first Virtual Living Room log-in) and join the Detox Community.
Owning Your Power
Now, take a moment to review your experiences over the past three weeks…
During Week 1 you began to discover your inner power-to recognize it and connect with it. You began to exercise it through discipline and attunement. In fact, without it, you would never have been able to make the first step on this 30-day journey. You elected to align with what is truly important to you!
During Week 2 you began to cultivate your inner power. You paid more attention to people, activities, conversations, and situations that either depressed or raised your strength and autonomy. From there, you began to make adjustments in your daily life. You also started thinking in terms of your alkaline reserve-your “bank account” of healing energy!
During Week 3 you began to identify and question external forces that exert power over you. You began to honestly evaluate who and what has power over you, and what you can do to reclaim and gain power over your own life. During this final stretch, Week 4, we urge you to own your power. By this we mean thinking beyond the limits of this cleanse and making the highly conscious decision to move forward in your life fully in your power-day by day, moment by moment, breath by sweet breath. By owning your power, you become a powerhouse of self-possession and awareness. You recognize that by committing to your self-sovereignty, you are a whole and coherent human being, free to pursue the life that you have always wanted.
You may find yourself tripping and slipping from time to time, but rest assured that you will experience these retrograde moments less and less as you more fully own your power. Continue to use the physical, mental, and emotional cleansing techniques you have practiced this month to keep you centered and strong. They are your tools for life!
What’s Happening in Your Body Right Now
At this point, you should be feeling more joy and peace in your life as your body has more open and free-flowing pathways than it has had in a long time! You should be feeling freedom from previous addictions and you are probably starting to get used to this feeling of openness and space within your own body and mind. Hopefully your home, office and other living spaces are free from clutter and obstruction as well!
Keep in mind that by cleansing your body and mind for 30 days you have created new spaces or voids that need to be filled with something new. Consciously fill these new spaces with higher ideals, more loving thoughts, more generosity, less vulgarity, less violence. You have been given this opportunity to start fresh in so many areas of your life seize this opportunity, consciously create the experience you want to have and the type of person you want to be, and you will experience lasting and ever-evolving change in your life.
Remember that in total, this is a 60 day experience from the time you first logged into the Virtual Living Room so make sure and take advantage of the materials in the VLR as you integrate into your post-cleanse lifestyle!
Life Beyond the Guided Rose Cleanse
At this point, you probably feel lighter than you ever have before and love the way you’ve begun to look and feel-and you don’t want it to end. You may be hungry for more information about this lifestyle beyond the 30-day cleanse. You may be fearful that, without continued support and guidance, you’ll revert back to your old dietary habits and obstructed body.
Wherever you go from here, it is better to have successfully completed this cleanse than never to have done it all. You will carry the knowledge of what it feels like to inhabit a cleaner, lighter, more alkaline body with you, and it will inform your choices, whether in big ways or small. But the ultimate goal of this cleanse, of course, is to maintain what you have achieved and to progress further into ever greater states of clarity. The benefits you have reaped from this cleanse do not have to end. In fact, if you continue on this path, even with the addition of a midday meal, you can absolutely make further progress. Picture a timeline where this month is only the beginning of your transformation.
As long as you don’t go back to consuming dense, acidic foods, the waste that has left your body this month is gone for good. You can expect to keep off any weight you have lost and continue losing weight and looking and feeling more vibrant as you consistently release more waste. If you are feeling great and simply want to continue juicing until dinner, per The Rose Cleanse, feel free to do so. You’ll be in good company: many of us have made juicing until dinner a part of our daily lives.
However, we wish to be very, very clear here: There’s no reason to push yourself to continue to juice until dinner if it’s not the most natural next step for you. If you are not truly ready for this, the outcome will not be favorable. As anyone who has forced an extreme degree of discipline will tell you, it is like a pendulum-having swung too far in one direction, it will eventually have to swing back in the opposite direction. We urge you to find the approach that best supports your path, not to push you to unnatural extremes. You don’t need to juice until dinner to progress.
There are many different approaches you could take at this point, which we will explore below. You can even use the juicing-till-dinner tool once or twice a week, or once or twice a month, rather than every day, as it suits you. It is your tool to use as it best benefits you, not a noose!
If you are looking for the next best step for you, we have outlined many options below. We encourage you to explore them-try them on for size, if you will, and see what feels intuitively right for you. But we offer these daily schedules as examples, not as strict prescriptions. Simply select the plan that makes the most sense for you and modify as needed. Remember, you should be able to keep the weight off that you lost this month, so if you begin to gain the weight back, just know that you are taking in more food than your body can effectively assimilate and eliminate on its own. Therefore, you can either consider a lighter diet plan or increase the amount of colon cleansing you are undertaking.
The Die-Hard Cleanser & The Die-Hard Fruit Lover
These options are for those of you who want to continue experiencing maximum internal openness and vitality without necessarily juicing until dinner every day. With these options, you will still continue to flood your system with life-force-rich, non-dense, hydrating elements. The Die-Hard approach continues to de-emphasize grains except for the highest-quality options (i.e. quinoa, millet, buckwheat, and amaranth).
Colon cleansing via professionally administered colon hydrotherapy or properly administered enemas will continue to be a regular practice as you continue to awaken old waste matter with this approach.
We have outlined a version for both yeast-conscious Rose Cleansers and those who know they can reintroduce fruit into their diet without a yeast concern.
The Die-Hard Cleanser
For the yeast-conscious Die-Hard Cleanser, a typical day will look like this:
- First intake: Vegetable juice, water and or/herbal tea as desired). If you begin your day with water or herbal tea, just make sure you have your vegetable juice at some point before you move on to “solid” food!
- Second intake: Organic raw vegetable salad dressed per recommendations in The Rose Cleanse or Detox 4 Women
- Dinner: Neutral, starch-based, or flesh-based raw salad and properly combined dinner and dessert per recommendations in The Rose Cleanse or Detox 4 Women
The Die-Hard Fruit Lover (Option A)
For the yeast-free Die-Hard Fruit Lover, a typical day might look like this:
- First Intake: Green vegetable-based juice with some fruit juice, if desired
- Second Intake: Seasonal fruit grazing throughout the day, as desired
- Dinner: Neutral, starch-based, or flesh-based raw salad, a properly combined dinner, and any desserts listed in The Rose Cleanse or any of Natalia’s books.
The Die-Hard Fruit Lover (Option B)
If you love to have your raw midday meal as well as a bit of fruit during the day, this is the plan for you. A typical day might look like this:
- First Intake: Green vegetable-based juice with some fruit juice, if desired
- Second Intake: Fresh, seasonal fruit of your choice
- Midday Meal: Raw salad
- Dinner: Neutral, starch-based, or flesh-based raw salad, a properly combined dinner, and any desserts listed in The Rose Cleanse or any of Natalia’s books.
The Yeast-Conscious Everyday Cleanser
If you know you need to stick with a yeast-sensitive diet but want to include some cooked elements midday, this is the option for you. This classic Detox 4 Women approach is appropriate for yeasted men and women alike. If you were yeasted before the 30-Day Guided Rose Cleanse began, you are most likely now at a critical juncture for continuing to starve off the yeast in your body. As you re-enter a more regular pattern of eating, do not take your eye off the ball. Continue to de-emphasize grains except for the highest-quality ones (i.e. quinoa, millet, buckwheat, and amaranth).
Colon cleansing via professionally administered colon hydrotherapy or properly administered enemas will continue to be a regular practice as you continue to awaken old waste matter.
Here is a sample schedule that will allow you to continue reaping the benefits of the 30-Day Guided Rose Cleanse while incorporating more food into your daily diet:
- First Intake: Vegetable juice
- Midday Meal: Neutral, starch-based, or flesh-based raw salad with a properly combined cooked component (e.g., a neutral vegetable soup; a starchy vegetable such as sweet potato or acorn squash; or a flesh-based lunch of salad with goat cheese and an egg omelet or a piece of fish)
- Dinner: A starch-based or flesh-based raw salad, a properly combined dinner, and a yeast-conscious, low-glycemic dessert (such as 70% dark chocolate)
The Everyday Cleanser
If you would like to incorporate a cooked component to your lunch, and you also love fruit and don’t need to take a yeast-conscious approach, this is the option for you. As an Everyday Cleanser, your go-to book would be The Raw Food Detox Diet and you’d hover around levels 2 to 4. You should continue with periodic colon cleansing via professionally administered colon hydrotherapy and/or properly administered enemas. Your daily intake might look like this:
- First Intake: Vegetable juice
- Second Intake: Fruit of your choice
- Midday Meal: Neutral, starch-based, or flesh-based raw salad with a properly combined cooked component (e.g. a neutral vegetable soup, a starchy vegetable such as sweet potato or acorn squash, or a flesh-based lunch of salad with goat cheese and an egg omelet or a piece of fish)
- Dinner: Raw salad, a properly combined dinner, and any desserts listed in Natalia’s books.
The Jock
If you have an extremely aggressive and rigorous athletic training schedule, or if you are a man who was eating a fully mainstream diet before you started the 30-Day Guided Rose Cleanse (think eggs, bacon, and toast or a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast; a turkey sandwich and chips for lunch; and chicken or steak with rice or pasta for dinner), this plan is for you! For the rigorously training athlete, this plan will provide enough clean sustenance to support you through your training. For the mainstream man, this will provide far better options than what you were consuming before the 30-day cleanse. With this plan, you will enjoy the density and variety of foods you are used to without overly re-toxifying your body.
We encourage you to consider periodic colon cleansing via professionally administered colon hydrotherapy and/or properly administered home enemas whenever your system is feeling backed up or could just use some “house cleaning.”
Your go-to book is The Raw Food Detox Diet, and you’d hover around levels 4 to 5. A typical day might look like this:
- First Intake: Vegetable juice
- Second Intake: Fruit of your choice
- Third Intake: Raw granola with almond milk, or an egg omelet with vegetables (make sure you wait 30 minutes to eat this meal after you have consumed your fruit)
- Dinner: Raw salad, a properly combined starch or flesh based dinner, and any properly combined dessert listed in Natalia’s books.
Practical Considerations
Make sure your post-cleanse game plan is as airtight as the game plan you had coming into the cleanse. If you will be reintroducing midday meals, please consider how, when, and where you will acquire what you need in order to make good choices. Make sure you either add your additional salad ingredients to your shopping list or choose a great salad bar near work or a store to purchase properly combined salads.
If you are adding a cooked element to your lunches, where will you get the new ingredients? Do you want to bake several sweet potatoes on Sunday so you have a few made for the first few days of the week (sweet potatoes will be good for about 2-3 days in the refrigerator)? Can you make vegetable soup to bring to work during the week, freezing the rest for later? Or will you just make enough of each dinner in order to have leftovers to accompany your salad for lunch the next day?
Also consider how you will incorporate physical activities into your daily schedule for the long term. Whatever you choose to do, make sure it is enjoyable, increases your chi flow, and helps to clear the mind. Choose whatever works best for you and commit to it!
Social and Lifestyle Considerations
In some ways, the social pressure to eat like everyone else may intensify after the cleanse is over. During the 30 days, you had the convenient excuse of undertaking this official guided cleanse as the reason why you were not partaking in certain meals or activities. Now that the guided cleanse is winding down, you will need to be strong enough to stand on your own as you integrate yourself back into the wider world. Now that you’ve begun to see and feel some of the amazing benefits of this cleanse, it is time to really own it as a lifestyle choice. If you cannot do this, ask yourself why not. Continue to practice self-awareness and to question the way you were living that drove you to cleanse in the first place. Does it make sense to compromise your greatest good to meet the social and cultural expectations of others?
While it will be important to set your boundaries as you integrate everything you have learned this month into your regular routine, remember that this plan is designed to give you flexibility. Although your choices may be different than others’, you should still be able to eat out at restaurants, enjoy dinners with your family and friends, and be excellent company for others!
Pay attention to components of your previous lifestyle that threaten to sabotage your efforts. Maybe it’s the one glass of wine that always turned into two or three, or the group of friends that teases or criticizes you for making progressive changes in your life, or the insanely busy schedule you have as a working parent. If you still doubt your ability remain centered in the face of such challenges, avoid them until you feel like you have control over them, dial down the frequency or intensity of them, or simply eliminate them if you are certain that this is the most life-generating approach for you. There are always other alternative options and it may be time to seriously consider making some big changes in order to pursue the life of joy and purpose you have always wanted.
If, on the other hand, you find that you are no longer reacting mindlessly to situations or mechanically reaching for foods and other substances to distract you from your true emotions, you are now in a position of true power. It means you can choose when it makes sense for you to indulge a little from time to time. This cleansing work is about progress, not perfection, so you can allow yourself the occasional flexible moment. You will notice that your desire to do this will lesson with time, but making the occasional clear-minded choice to give yourself some wiggle room when a situation calls for it can be more life-generating than strictly adhering to your plan.
We often hear people using their budget as an excuse to eat poorly. This should never be an excuse! Hopefully you have seen this month that there is a way to live this lifestyle economically. If you are not overeating, and if you are preparing your own meals (and even better, growing some of your own produce), in time you will find yourself spending less on higher-quality foods. This lifestyle will get expensive only if you always shop at gourmet health food stores. This is fine if your budget can accommodate it, but buying a salad from Whole Foods every day is a whole lot more expensive than making your own. Remember, if you need to, you can make this lifestyle very inexpensive, so don’t ever let your budget stand between you and your goals.
Mental and Emotional Considerations
Going back to eating during the day may bring your vibration (cellular vitality) down a little bit. Do not be afraid of this-just recognize it as a choice you have decided to make, and remember that this does not mean that the high vibration you experienced is no longer available to you. You now have the tools to experience it again whenever you want to!
